Is Earning That TOIEC Bonus Enough Motivation?
It Shouldn’t Be.
We created Infinity Key because Taiwanese people that study English seem far too focused on passing tests. We want you to understand that language is Art and thus, cannot be objectively tested. Additionally, what happens after you pass your IELTS, TOEFL, GEPT or TOIEC test? You will be putting your life into a position that will require you to actually use English.
When you cram for tests, the memory mechanism employed is short term. If you were to take the exact same test 2 months later, you likely will have forgotten a majority of what you studied. This is a lose-lose scenario. Still, passing English proficiency tests are a fact of life for any Taiwanese person that wants to improve their chances of securing better job opportunities. With that in mind, we’ve created a comprehensive training system that does not involve any kind of test prep. By using our system to its full capacity, no test will ever represent a challenge. That said, the TOIEC test is one that is seemingly impossible to ignore.
Does your company offers a bonus for a good TOIEC score? If you score between 800 and 900, can you earn an extra 1000NT a month? If you score over 900, does that amount double? This is probably the offer most companies make. To qualify for most companies’ bonuses, you don’t have to take The Speaking and Writing test. Score a 901 and you can earn the maximum bonus. A score of 901 may seem high, but you only have to take The Listening and Reading test.
